$30.2724 – $54.0703 / hr

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assumes direct responsibility and accountability for nursing care of facility residents.

Directs unit assignments of personnel, including LPNs, CNAs, and CRAs.

Defines, plans, organizes, directs, manages, implements, and evaluates nursing care provided to residents.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
- Medical records (charts) and all related forms.
- Diagnostic and consulting reports
- Staffing schedules
- Feeding tube pumps, blood glucose monitor machine, IV pumps, blood pressure machine, oxygen analyzer, oxygen tanks and concentrators, suction machine, SCD machine, ear thermometer, electric lifts & stands, weight scales, fax machines and computers.
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an approved RN program; BSN preferred.

Must have passed the Illinois Licensure examination and hold a current Illinois RN license.

Three to four years of related experience in long-term care.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills, critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Familiarity with medical software, especially PointClickCare.

Ability to manage and evaluate nursing care and staff assignments effectively.
