Clerical Administrator / Inventory Clerk, Temp 600 hours

Manages inventory and supports nursing admin with clerical and scheduling tasks. Requires a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in scheduling, medical terminology, and inventory control needed. Competency exam and in-basket required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Order and maintain inventory supplies per state and federal regulations.

  • Keep inventory stocked, organized, and compliant.

  • Support resident safety by following professional standards and facility policies.

  • Provide confidential clerical support to nursing administration.

  • Perform complex clerical tasks and collaborate effectively with staff.

  • Assist with daily scheduling for the nursing department.

  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for administrative tasks.

  • Communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently.

MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED

  • Computer with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Inventory management system/software

  • Office supplies (e.g., phone, printer, copier, fax machine)

  • Filing systems (digital and physical)

  • Communication tools (email, phone, intercom)

  • Medical and office inventory items

  • Scheduling software or tools

EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience in staff scheduling, inventory control, and medical terminology

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Prior administrative or clerical experience in a healthcare or nursing environment preferred
