Clerical Receptionist – Full Time
Operates and answers phone calls on the facility switchboard system. Greets and directs visitors, residents, staff, vendors, volunteers and assure resident safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operates and answers phone calls using the facility switchboard system.
- Greets and directs visitors, residents, staff, vendors, and volunteers.
- Responds to general inquiries and provides information as needed.
- Makes appointments.
- Collects and distributes mail and messages.
- Assists with administrative projects as needed.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
- Facility telephone/switchboard system
- Computer and related office equipment
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Standard office equipment and supplies
- Mail and message distribution systems
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS RELATED EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous telephone experience required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of basic telephone and switchboard operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally and courteously with visitors, residents, staff, vendors, and volunteers.
- Ability to handle general inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Ability to manage appointments, mail, and messages effectively.
- Ability to perform basic administrative tasks and assist with special projects.
- Ability to operate computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals.
